Downloading your video (and keeping it safe)
Finished videos download as ready-to-upload HD MP4 files, named after your project title. Thumbnails download separately as images.
Where to download
- On the Export step of the wizard, right when assembly completes.
- Any time later from the project page in your Dashboard.
Download links are secure and refresh automatically — if a link has expired since your last visit, the platform re-signs it on the fly. If a download doesn't start, try opening the video in a new tab and saving from there.
How long files are kept
Download your final video within 30 days. Finished renders are stored on the platform for about a month; long videos are heavy, so we don't keep them forever. Your project itself — melodies, images, loops, settings — stays in your account, so you can re-assemble the same video later if you missed the window.
Good habits
- Upload to YouTube soon after rendering — that's your permanent copy.
- Big files download best on a stable connection; a 10-hour video can be several gigabytes.
- Keep the generated thumbnail with the video file so the pair stays together.
