Rendering & assembly: what happens and how long it takes
When you hit Assemble, the platform stitches your tracks and visual loops into one continuous video in the cloud. It's fully automatic — here's what to expect while it runs.
Typical times
| Video length | Typical assembly time |
|---|---|
| 30 minutes or less | ~10 minutes |
| 1 hour | ~20–30 minutes |
| 3–10 hours | up to a few hours — start it and walk away |
Times vary with load. Assembly happens server-side, so you can close the tab, log out, even shut your laptop — the project page keeps showing live status whenever you come back, and the status updates in real time.
Statuses you'll see
- Generating — melodies, images or loops are still being created.
- Assembling — the final video is being rendered and stitched.
- Completed — your video is ready to preview and download.
- Error — something failed; the page shows what to retry.
A server-side watchdog checks in-flight renders every few minutes, so a temporary hiccup recovers on its own. If a project sits in "Assembling" for well over the typical time, see Troubleshooting.
Assembly and re-assembly don't cost credits — you already paid for generation. Reordering the timeline and re-assembling is free.
