Tutorial: Your first 1-hour lo-fi video

We'll make a classic: a 1-hour lo-fi study mix with visuals that change every track. You need a signed-in account and 20 credits (or run the same steps with 5 tracks, the minimum, on your free trial credits).

   Start a Music-mode project

   Dashboard → New Project. Keep the default Music mode selected.

   Write the idea

   Title: "Midnight Study Session". Idea:

   "A quiet desk by a rainy window at midnight — warm lamp, notebooks, steam from a mug. Mellow lo-fi hip-hop with soft piano, vinyl crackle and slow beats. Cozy, focused, a little nostalgic."

   Click Enhance if you want the AI to enrich it further.

   On the same step, pick the Standard (1 hour) length preset: 20 tracks, 20 credits.

   Pick the style

   Style: lo-fi / chillhop. The AI writes an individual prompt per track — skim them; they should riff on your desk/rain/night concept.

   Generate and curate the music

   Confirm the credit dialog. While tracks generate, start listening from the top. Re-roll anything that breaks the mood — a too-bright track at position 3 will stick out for a full hour. Each credit includes a free regeneration, so be picky.

   Curate images and loops

   Review each track's image next — keep the scene anchored on the desk-and-window motif, regenerate outliers. Then preview the animated loops; you're looking for slow, seamless motion (rain streaks, steam, flickering lamp).

   Shape the timeline

   Order tracks like a DJ set: strongest opener first (it's your first impression and your thumbnail source), gentle dip in the middle, calmest tracks last.

   Assemble

   Continue to the Export step: the video is prepared and rendered on our servers (about 20 minutes). Meanwhile, review the generated SEO pack: keep "lofi" + "study" in the title and check the description's first line. Then design the thumbnail: pick a picture, type 1–4 words, choose a look, drag the text into place and press Add text.

   Download

   When status flips to Completed, watch the video right on the Export step, then download the MP4 and the thumbnail (Download in the Thumbnail panel gives it with your text on it). Done — continue with Publish on YouTube.
